Get to Know the Experts Behind Cosh Appraisals
CAL, M.Ed, P.App, CRA
Original owner, and founder of Cosh Appraisals, Cal holds his Canadian Residential Appraisal designation (CRA) with The Appraisal Institute of Canada. Cal has lived and worked in the Shuswap since 2006, providing appraisal and consulting services. Cal has tremendous experience throughout the region, across a wide variety of properties. Cal holds an undergraduate degree in Urban and Economic Geography from Simon Fraser University, followed by work at UBC and the U of Alberta. He is a former board member of the Provincial Branch for British Columbia, and active in The Appraisal Institute of Canada’s Kamloops-Shuswap Chapter. Cal has taken additional courses on specialized appraisal topics and has completed courses looking at the appraisal issues with rural and remote properties, acreage properties, waterfront and recreational properties. Cal continues to provide mentorship to Scott, and Conny-Maud.
CONNY-MAUD, BSc, MBA, P.App, CRA
Conny-Maud has been a part of the Cosh Appraisal team since 2021 and is a registered Canadian Residential Appraiser (CRA) with the Appraisal Institute of Canada. Conny-Maud hold a Certificate in Real-Estate Valuation from UBC, has a Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Science, and is a Red-Seal Electrician, who has experience working on and managing large utility infrastructure and worksites for BC Hydro, where she worked until her early retirement. Conny-Maud is an experienced and detail-oriented appraiser with a sharp eye for assessing the value of various properties. She has a deep understanding of the local real-estate market, economic trends, and property conditions, allowing her to provide accurate and reliable evaluations. Conny-Maud completed her Candidacy with The Appraisal Institute of Canada under the Guidance of Cal Cosh, she has extensive experience on construction sites and has an eye for detail, with extensive experience throughout the region.
SCOTT, BBA, P.App, CRA
Principal, and Owner of Cosh Appraisals, Scott has been with the company since 2021 and is a registered Canadian Residential Appraiser (CRA) with The Appraisal Institute of Canada. Scott holds a Certificate in Real-Estate Valuation through UBC and is actively working towards his Post-Graduate Certificate in Real-Estate Valuation (AACI) through UBC. Scott also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, with a Concentration in Management from Bishop’s University. Scott has a reputation for delivering well-researched, unbiased reports that clients trust for making informed decisions. Scott often works with lenders, real estate agents, and property owners, with his knowledge extending from suburban to unique or niche properties. completed his Candidacy with The Appraisal Institute of Canada under the Guidance of Cal Cosh and has extensive experience throughout the region. Scott looks forward to carrying on the core values that have shaped Cosh Appraisals, ensuring continued dedication to professionalism, integrity, and exceptional service for clients.
